WELCOME

The vision of the Adventist Lay Chaplains Association (ALCA) is to cultivate the chaplaincy ministry for individuals who are not ordained ministers or paid chaplains but are called by God to provide spiritual care and reflect the compassionate care of Jesus Christ.

Meet the Team

The Chaplaincy Team comprises of Pastor Miguel Crespo, Director, Pastor Shervin Evans, Coordinator, and Dr. Jennifer Adjodha-Evans, Curriculum Advisor.

Volunteer Director of Chaplaincy AUC of SDA.

Pastor Miguel Crespo, conference president of the New York Conference is the Volunteer Director for Chaplaincy for the Atlantic Union.

Volunteer Coordinator Chaplaincy NYC of SDA.

Pastor Shervin Evans, Lay Pastor of the New York Conference is the Volunteer Coordinator for Chaplaincy for the New York Conference of SDA.

Curriculum Advisor of Chaplaincy for NYC of SDA.

Dr. Jennifer Adjodha-Evans is the curriculum advisor for the chaplaincy ministry. She advises on the training and professional development of the ministry.

Adventist Lay Chaplains Association (ALCA) is an organization within the Atlantic Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It aims to train and support lay members who wish to volunteer as chaplains in their communities.
